What this show is and who it is for
Ninety seconds. Who the show is for, what makes it different, and what lands in episode one.
Podcast
Straight talk about how procurement and supply chain actually work inside small and mid size companies, from someone who has spent 25 years doing the buying.

The show
Most supply chain content is written for Fortune 500 teams with a department behind them. This show is for the other companies: the manufacturer with one buyer, the distributor whose owner still signs every purchase order, the operations manager who inherited purchasing along with everything else.
Each episode takes one real problem, explains what is actually causing it, and gives you something you can use the same week. The show opens with a two part interview with the AI systems everyone is being told will fix their supply chain, asking them directly what they can and cannot do for it.
Season one
The show has not launched yet. These are the first episodes being produced, in order. Titles may change before release.
Ninety seconds. Who the show is for, what makes it different, and what lands in episode one.
A real, unscripted conversation with an AI assistant about a live tariff question, with my running commentary on what it got right, what it got wrong, and what only 25 years of doing this work can tell you.
Part two. Instead of asking the AI questions, I ask it to do five things procurement people do every week, and we watch where it helps, where it creates work, and where it is confidently and dangerously wrong.
The hire feels like the answer. Often the timing is wrong, and there is a cheaper way to get the same result.
The surprises are not random. They come from the same handful of blind spots, and they are all visible before they hit.
Not exotic ones. The five that show up in almost every company buying under $50M a year.

Behind the show
Twenty five years in industrial procurement, two published books on procurement and supply chain, and the founder of Strategic Supply Group, a fractional procurement and supply chain business for manufacturers and distributors.
If something in your own supply base has you stuck, send it over. Listener problems make the best episodes, and I will keep your company name out of it.
